On Monday June 16/03 Guelph City Council approved yet another new subdivision, even with the knowledge that a water ban may be issued this summer. The 181 new homes will be built near Arkell Road east and are anticipated to be available for occupancy next year.
It just defies common sense how the Guelph City Council can continue to give the OK to new housing developments prior to solving the existing water crisis that affects the present number of Guelph residents.
